20-Minute Air Fryer Salmon Almondine: Weeknight Dinner Made Simple

A quick, flavorful air-fried salmon topped with browned almonds and green onions for an easy weeknight dinner.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 12 minutes
Total Time 17 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon (about 1 pound total if using a slab)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons green onions chopped, optional

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Small skillet
  • Tongs or spatula
  • Measuring Spoons

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pat the salmon dry with paper towels and season both sides evenly with the lemon pepper seasoning.
  3. Place the salmon pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding; work in batches if necessary.
  4. Cook the salmon at 350°F for 12 minutes; do not flip during cooking.
  5. While the salmon cooks, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add the sliced almonds to the melted butter and cook, stirring frequently, until the almonds are golden brown, about 3 minutes; remove from heat to prevent burning.
  7. When the salmon is done, transfer to a serving plate and drizzle with the lemon juice.
  8. Sprinkle the browned almonds and chopped green onions over the salmon, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer so the salmon cooks evenly.
  • Watch almonds closely as they can burn quickly.
  • Use a room-temperature skillet to brown the almonds for best control.
