Ingredients
  

Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for sautéing
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 jar DeLallo marinara sauce 25.25 oz
  • 16 oz DeLallo Gnocchi
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup chopped basil (optional)

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in the gnocchi and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they float to the top.
  5. Scatter mozzarella cheese over the gnocchi and cover the skillet for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper, then stir gently to combine.
  7. Sprinkle chopped basil over the top just before serving.

Notes

  • This dish is best enjoyed fresh; leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Stir the gnocchi occasionally while cooking to prevent sticking.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick!
  • Finish with a drizzle of olive oil for extra richness.
