Air-Fryer Eggs

Quick and easy eggs cooked in the air fryer for a simple breakfast or snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large eggs
  • spring onion chopped, for garnish
  • sea salt pinch, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper pinch, to taste

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • bowl (for ice bath)
  • Slotted spoon or tongs
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 250°F (approximately 120°C).
  2. Place the eggs in a single layer in the air-fryer basket so they do not overlap.
  3. Cook the eggs for 10–12 minutes for soft-boiled yolks, or 15–18 minutes for hard-boiled yolks.
  4. When cooked, transfer the eggs to an ice bath and chill for 5 minutes to stop cooking and make peeling easier.
  5. Gently peel the eggs, cut each in half, and season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  6. Garnish with chopped spring onion and serve.

  • Adjust cook time for your preferred yolk consistency.
  • Use an ice bath to make peeling easier.
  • Place eggs in a single layer to ensure even cooking.
