Ingredients

Chicken Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped plus more for garnish
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated plus more for garnish

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl

Method

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Wings. Start by rinsing your chicken wings under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels. Removing excess moisture ensures that the wings will get crispy. Once dry, place the wings in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Step 2: Season the Wings. In the same bowl as the chicken wings, add onion powder, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Toss the wings until they are well coated in the seasoning mixture.
  3. Step 3: Add Garlic and Parmesan. Next, add the minced garlic and grated Parmesan cheese to the seasoned chicken wings. Toss everything together until the wings are evenly coated with garlic and cheese.
  4. Step 4: Preheat the Air Fryer. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Cook the Wings. Once preheated, place the chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  6. Step 6: Garnish and Serve. After cooking, remove the wings from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving platter. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top for a touch of color and extra flavor. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, if desired!

Notes

For extra crispy wings, make sure they are dry before seasoning. If you like a spicier kick, add a dash of cayenne pepper or your favorite hot sauce to the seasoning mix.
