Method

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, add the chicken drumsticks and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. Step 3: In a separate bowl, combine the baking powder, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, kosher salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Step 4: Coat each drumstick with the seasoning mixture, ensuring they are well covered.
  5. Step 5: Place the coated drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.

  7. Step 7: Remove the drumsticks from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Don't skip the baking powder—it’s the secret to that crispy skin.
  • Feel free to experiment with additional spices like smoked paprika or cayenne for an extra kick.
  • Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure your chicken is cooked perfectly every time.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.
