Air-Fryer Grilled Chicken

Juicy, seasoned chicken breasts cooked quickly in the air fryer for a simple weeknight main.

Ingredients
  

  • cooking spray
  • 2-3 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • poultry seasoning optional

Equipment

  • Cooking spray
  • Meat Thermometer

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (about 182°C).
  2. Spray both sides of each chicken breast lightly with cooking spray.
  3. Season both sides of the chicken generously with salt, black pepper, and poultry seasoning if using.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  5. Cook for 9 minutes, then flip each breast and continue cooking for another 9 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F.
  • Do not overcrowd the basket to allow even air circulation.
  • Cooking times may vary by air fryer model and chicken thickness.
