Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 6 large eggs Fresh eggs work best for achieving that perfect texture.
  • 3 cups water For the ice bath, which stops the cooking process.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Tongs or slotted spoon
  • Timer

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 270°F (130°C). This temperature is ideal for cooking the eggs evenly without overcooking them.
  2. Place the eggs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure they are not overcrowded, as this can affect cooking time and results.
  3. Cook the eggs in the air fryer for 15 minutes. Set a timer and relax while the air fryer does the work!
  4. While the eggs are cooking, prepare an ice bath by filling a mixing bowl with 3 cups of cold water and adding 8 to 9 ice cubes.
  5. Once the timer goes off, carefully transfer the eggs from the air fryer to the ice bath using tongs or a slotted spoon. Let them sit in the ice bath for about 5-10 minutes to cool down and stop the cooking process.
  6. After the eggs have cooled, gently tap them on a hard surface to crack the shell and peel. Enjoy your perfectly cooked Air Fryer Hard-Boiled Eggs as a snack, in a salad, or however you prefer!

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket to avoid uneven cooking.
  • Always prepare an ice bath to make peeling easier.
  • Keep an eye on the timer to prevent overcooking.
