Total Time 15 minutes
Servings: 5 servings

Ingredients

  • 20 oz fresh or frozen ravioli (if using frozen, thaw before cooking)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • fresh parsley for serving, optional
  • fresh basil for serving, optional
  • marinara sauce for dipping

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • 2 shallow bowls or dishes
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Plate
  • Cooking spray

Method

  1. Whisk the 2 large eggs in a shallow bowl until smooth.
  2. In a second shallow bowl, mix the seasoned bread crumbs, grated Parmesan, dried basil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until combined.
  3. Working in batches, dip each ravioli first into the beaten egg to coat, then press into the breadcrumb mixture to fully cover; place coated ravioli on a plate.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place a single layer of coated ravioli in the air fryer basket and lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for 4–5 minutes or until golden and crispy, then transfer to a serving tray and cover lightly with foil to keep warm; repeat with remaining ravioli.
  7. Serve immediately with marinara sauce and garnish with fresh parsley and basil if desired.

Notes

  • These are great served as an appetizer for an Italian-themed spread.
  • If using frozen ravioli, thaw completely before breading.
  • Any type of ravioli works—use your favorite filling.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in single layers for even crisping.
