Ingredients

  • 14.75 ounces canned flaked salmon drained
  • 1 large egg
  • 5 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray
  • Preferred sauce for dipping

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Spatula
  • Cooking spray

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained canned salmon, large egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, finely chopped onion, panko breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, seafood seasoning, salt, and pepper. Use a fork to mix everything until well combined.
  2. Once your mixture is ready, use your hands to form it into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the salmon patties in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd them.
  5. Cook the patties for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Carefully remove the patties from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Make the salmon mixture a day ahead for easy prep.
  • Freeze uncooked patties for quick meals later.
  • Experiment with different herbs for added flavor.
