- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
- Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add the eggs, almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and whisk until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix the almond flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and sea salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out and cool completely on a wire rack before cutting.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness.
- Store bars wrapped in plastic or in an airtight container.
- For nut-free, substitute almond butter with sunflower seed butter.
