Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 cup coconut milk or coconut water for a creamy texture and a hint of sweetness
  • 1 granny smith apple, chopped adds a tart flavor and a crunchy texture
  • 1 banana provides natural sweetness and creaminess
  • 1 cup baby spinach a nutrient-packed addition that boosts fiber and vitamins
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon for that warm, comforting flavor
  • 1 cup ice to create a refreshing chilled smoothie

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Glass or mason jar

Method

Instructions
  1. Start by washing the granny smith apple and baby spinach thoroughly. Chop the apple into small pieces, and peel the banana.
  2. In your blender, combine the chopped apple, banana, baby spinach, coconut milk or coconut water, and ground cinnamon.
  3. Add the ice to the blender. Blend all the ingredients on high speed until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, feel free to add a splash more coconut milk or water.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust the flavor if needed. If you prefer it sweeter, consider adding a drizzle of honey or a splash of maple syrup.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a glass or mason jar. You can garnish it with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top or a slice of apple for an extra touch.

Notes

  • Store leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  • Add a scoop of protein powder for a more substantial meal replacement.
  • Feel free to use frozen fruit for a thicker texture.
