Equipment

  • Frying Pan
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Paper Towels

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 strips Bacon Cooked until crispy
  • 1-2 pieces Fresh Jalapenos Seeded and minced
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Ketchup
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste

Instructions

  • Step 1: Cook the Bacon - Start by cooking the two strips of bacon until they are crispy. You can do this in a frying pan over medium heat or in the oven for more even cooking. Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Step 2: Mince the Bacon - Once your bacon is cool, chop it into small, bite-sized pieces.
  • Step 3: Prepare the Jalapenos - Cut the jalapenos in half, remove the seeds, and mince them finely.
  • Step 4: Mix the Sauce - In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise and ketchup. Stir them together until fully blended.
  • Step 5: Add Bacon and Jalapenos - Fold in the chopped bacon and minced jalapenos into the mayonnaise and ketchup mixture. Stir well.
  • Step 6: Season to Taste - Taste your sauce and season with salt and pepper according to your preference. Mix again, and your sauce is ready to enjoy!

Notes

For extra smokiness, consider using smoked bacon. Let the sauce sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld together.
