Instructions
Step 1: Prepare your ingredients by gathering everything. Cook chicken if not already done, and crumble crispy bacon.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk. Stir well.
Step 3: Add ranch dressing mix, green onions, cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese. Mix until evenly distributed.
Step 4: Gently fold in the crumbled bacon into the mixture.
Step 5: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and layer frozen tater tots on top.
Step 6: Bake for 30-35 minutes until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is bubbly. Check with a toothpick.
Step 7: Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with sliced green onions, and serve warm.
Notes
For a healthier version, use baked tater tots or lower-fat sour cream. Customize with vegetables or different cheeses as desired.
