Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 2: Carefully make a slit along the top of each hot dog to create a pocket for the cheese.
Step 3: Stuff the shredded Colby Jack cheese into the slits of each hot dog.
Step 4: Wrap each cheese-filled hot dog with a strip of bacon, overlapping slightly.
Step 5: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the bacon-wrapped hot dogs on it.
Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted.
Step 7: Toast the hot dog buns in the oven or on a skillet for a crispy finish.
Step 8: Serve the hot dogs in the toasted buns with your favorite condiments.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the hot dogs in barbecue sauce before wrapping them in bacon.
