Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 ½ cups vanilla yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease your donut pan.
  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Stir until smooth, then add the egg and whisk until creamy. Incorporate vanilla yogurt, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  • Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined.
  • Step 5: Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about two-thirds full.
  • Step 6: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Step 7: Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
