Begin by pressing the tofu to remove excess water. Wrap the tofu block in a clean kitchen towel or paper towels and place it on a plate. Set a heavy object on top. Let it sit for at least 15-20 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to create a crunchy texture.
Once the tofu is pressed, unwrap it and cut it into sticks about 1-inch thick.
In a mixing bowl, combine the tofu sticks with peanut oil and toss gently to coat. Add the toasted sesame seeds, ensuring each stick is evenly coated.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the tofu sticks in a single layer.
Bake the tofu in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Pair with your favorite dipping sauce.
