Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine all the spices for the spice mix. Mix well to ensure even distribution.
- In a large bowl, coat the steak cubes with the spice mix and let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat the canola oil in a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the seasoned steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until a crust forms. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter, and once melted, add garlic. Cook until fragrant.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet, toss in the Cajun butter sauce, and cook for an additional minute.
- Transfer to a serving platter and drizzle with any remaining sauce before serving.
Notes
- For a keto version, substitute brown sugar with a brown sugar alternative.
- Use olive oil or avocado oil if out of canola oil.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
