Preparation Steps:
- In a mixing bowl, add the quick-cooking oats, a pinch of sea salt, ground cinnamon, and chia seeds. Stir these dry ingredients together until they are well mixed.
- Pour in the maple syrup and the coconut/almond milk blend. Stir everything together until the oats are well-coated and the mixture is evenly combined.
- Gently fold in the dried tart cherries and sliced banana. Make sure the fruit is evenly distributed throughout the muesli.
- Allow the mixture to sit for about 5-10 minutes. This will give the oats a chance to absorb some of the liquid and soften.
- Spoon the muesli into bowls and sprinkle with toasted unsweetened coconut on top. Feel free to add additional banana slices or a drizzle of maple syrup if desired.
Notes
- Use quick cooking oats for the best texture.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Adjust the liquid amount if using fresh cherries.
