Chicken Apple Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium chicken breast cooked and diced into small bite-sized chunks
  • 1 medium apple cut into small cubes
  • 1 tablespoon walnuts or other nuts chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dried cranberries or raisins
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise use more if desired for a moister salad

Method
 

  1. Prepare the chicken and apple: dice the cooked chicken breast into small bite-sized pieces and cut the apple into small cubes.
  2. Place the diced chicken, cubed apple, chopped walnuts, and dried cranberries (or raisins) into a large bowl.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon mayonnaise to the bowl and mix thoroughly until ingredients are evenly coated; add more mayonnaise if you prefer a moister salad.
  4. Serve immediately on its own or use as a sandwich filling.

Notes

  • This recipe yields a single serving; scale ingredients as needed.
  • Use cooked chicken (roasted, poached, or rotisserie) for convenience.
  • Swap walnuts for any preferred nut if desired.
  • Use dried cranberries or raisins based on sweetness preference.
