  • 1 large frozen banana (broken into chunks)
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2-3 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • a pinch sea salt

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Gather all the ingredients listed above. Make sure your banana is frozen and broken into chunks for optimal blending.
  2. In your blender, add the frozen banana chunks along with your choice of milk. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth. If it's too thick, add a little more milk.
  3. Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of sea salt to the blender. Blend again until everything is well combined and silky smooth.
  4. Taste your smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup or honey if needed. Add more cayenne for extra heat if desired.
  5. Pour your Chocolate Banana Smoothie With Cayenne into a glass or mason jar. Optionally, top with cocoa powder or cayenne for presentation and enjoy!
