Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip whipped topping or 3 cups freshly whipped cream
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • assorted dippers graham crackers, fruit, or pretzels

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer
  • Spatula
  • Serving Bowl

Method

  1. Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature. This will make it easier to blend and create a smooth base for your dip.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the mixture until it’s smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour in the vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated. The aroma of vanilla should fill your kitchen!
  4. Gently fold in the Cool Whip (or freshly whipped cream) until well combined. This adds a lightness to the dip, making it fluffy and delightful.
  5. Add in the mini chocolate chips, mixing them evenly throughout the dip. You want those little bursts of chocolate in every bite!
  6. For the best flavor, consider chilling your dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This helps the flavors meld together beautifully.
  7. Transfer your Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip to a serving bowl and arrange your assorted dippers around it. Dig in and enjoy!

Notes

  • Leftover dip can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Feel free to experiment with different types of chocolate chips.
  • For a healthier twist, try using Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese.
