Ingredients
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Double boiler or microwave-safe bowl
  • Whisk or spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Serving Bowl

Method

Instructions
  1. Gather all your ingredients and tools. This is the perfect time to cut up fruits, cookies, or whatever you plan to dip.
  2. Using a double boiler or a microwave, melt the 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips. If using a microwave, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the 1 cup heavy whipping cream over medium heat until it's just about to boil. Do not let it boil, as this can alter the texture.
  4. Once the cream is heated, pour it over the melted chocolate. Add the 1 tsp vanilla extract at this stage. Stir gently until everything is well combined and smooth.
  5. Transfer your Chocolate Dip to a serving bowl and enjoy it warm with your favorite dippables!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Gently reheat in the microwave or over a double boiler before serving again.
  • Avoid freezing as it can alter the texture of the dip.
