- Gather all your ingredients and tools. This is the perfect time to cut up fruits, cookies, or whatever you plan to dip.
- Using a double boiler or a microwave, melt the 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips. If using a microwave, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- In a small saucepan, heat the 1 cup heavy whipping cream over medium heat until it's just about to boil. Do not let it boil, as this can alter the texture.
- Once the cream is heated, pour it over the melted chocolate. Add the 1 tsp vanilla extract at this stage. Stir gently until everything is well combined and smooth.
- Transfer your Chocolate Dip to a serving bowl and enjoy it warm with your favorite dippables!
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
- Gently reheat in the microwave or over a double boiler before serving again.
- Avoid freezing as it can alter the texture of the dip.
