Ingredients
  

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 cup water or your choice of milk (almond, coconut, unsweetened)
  • 1/2 banana frozen
  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1-2 cups ice

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients and tools on the kitchen counter.
  2. In your blender, add 1 cup of water or milk of your choice, followed by 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder.
  3. Add half of a frozen banana to the blender.
  4. Add in the fresh mint leaves or the mint extract.
  5. Add 1 to 2 cups of ice to the blender.
  6. Secure the blender lid and blend on high until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.
  7. Taste the smoothie. If you desire more sweetness, add a touch of honey or a sweetener of your choice, and blend again.
  8. Pour your Chocolate Mint Protein Smoothie into a glass, and enjoy!
