- Add 1 cup water or unsweetened almond or coconut milk to the blender.
- Add 1 scoop chocolate protein powder.
- Add 1/2 frozen banana.
- Add the mint: either 6 fresh mint leaves OR 1/4 teaspoon mint extract (choose one, do not use both).
- Add 1–2 cups ice (use 2 cups for a thicker, more slushy smoothie or 1 cup for a thinner texture).
- Secure the blender lid, start blending on low or pulse to break up the ice, then blend on high until smooth (about 30–60 seconds), stopping to scrape the sides if needed.
- Check texture; if no large chunks remain and it’s smooth, pour into a glass and serve immediately.
