Ingredients
  

For the Bars:
  • 3 cups Puffed Rice Cereal
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter melted
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup White Chocolate Chips optional

Method
 

Directions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Baking Dish
    Start by lining an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang to make it easy to lift the bars out once they are set.
  2. Step 2: Melt the Chocolate Mixture
    In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the unsalted butter, heavy cream, Nutella, and semisweet chocolate chips. Stir constantly until the mixture is completely melted and smooth, being careful not to let it boil.
  3. Step 3: Combine with Puffed Rice Cereal
    Once the chocolate mixture is melted, remove it from the heat and immediately add the puffed rice cereal to the saucepan. Gently fold the cereal into the chocolate mixture until it's well coated.
  4. Step 4: Add Marshmallows and White Chocolate Chips
    Next, fold in the mini marshmallows and white chocolate chips. Mix until they are evenly distributed throughout the cereal mixture.
  5. Step 5: Press into the Baking Dish
    Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and use a spatula to press it down firmly into an even layer. This step is crucial to ensure that the bars hold together well once set.
  6. Step 6: Chill and Set
    Place the baking dish in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until the bars are firm and set. Once set, lift the bars out using the parchment paper overhang.
  7. Step 7: Cut and Serve
    Using a sharp knife, cut the bars into squares or rectangles, depending on your preference. Enjoy immediately or store for later!

Notes

  • For a nut-free version, substitute Nutella with sunflower seed spread.
  • To make these bars dairy-free, use dairy-free chocolate chips and a coconut cream alternative to the heavy cream.
