- Position an oven rack 4–6 inches below the broiler element and preheat the broiler on High.
- Drain the canned lump crab in a fine-mesh sieve or by pouring off the liquid; gently flake any large pieces with a fork and set the crab aside.
- In a medium bowl, stir together 1/3 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup very finely chopped celery, 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon TABASCO sauce until combined.
- Fold the drained lump crab and 2/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese into the mayonnaise mixture until evenly combined.
- Arrange the 4 English muffins, split (8 halves total), cut side up on a baking sheet.
- Divide the crab mixture evenly among the 8 muffin halves, spreading it to cover each cut surface.
- Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the tops of the filled muffin halves.
- Broil the filled muffins until the cheese is melted and the mixture is bubbly, about 2–4 minutes—watch closely to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute or two before serving.
