  • Skillet
  • Cooking utensils
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Serving plates

Method

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Crab Legs - Thaw and rinse the crab legs under cold water, then cut them open to access the meat.
  2. Step 2: Cook the Linguine - In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the linguine until al dente. Reserve some pasta water, then drain.
  3. Step 3: Sauté the Ingredients - In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the crab legs and sauté for 2-3 minutes until warmed through. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Step 4: Add the Chili Oil - Pour in the chili oil and stir to combine. Allow to simmer for a minute.
  5. Step 5: Combine Pasta and Sauce - Add the cooked linguine, tossing to coat. Add reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
  6. Step 6: Finish with Cream - Remove from heat and stir in the cream, adjusting for creaminess. Toss to coat the pasta.
  7. Step 7: Serve and Enjoy - Plate the pasta, garnishing with extra chili oil if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a milder flavor, reduce the chili oil.
  • Use heavy cream for a richer taste.
  • Add a splash of white wine for depth after sautéing.
