Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Garri granulated cassava
  • 3 cups Water adjust based on thickness
  • 3 cubes Sugar or honey sweeten to taste
  • 1 pinch Salt to enhance flavors
  • 2 tbsp Milk or Bournvita for creaminess
  • Ice cubes optional

Method
 

  1. Start by measuring out 1 cup of Garri and 3 cups of water. Have your sweetener, salt, and milk or Bournvita ready for incorporation.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Garri with the 3 cups of water. Stir well until the Garri is fully submerged in the water. Let it sit for about 2-3 minutes to hydrate.
  3. Add 3 cubes of sugar or honey to the Garri-water mixture. If you prefer, you can adjust the sweetness based on your taste preferences. Remember, you can always add more later if needed!
  4. Stir in a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors. Then, add 2 tablespoons of milk or Bournvita for creaminess. Mix thoroughly until everything is well combined.
  5. If you like it chilled, add ice cubes to your glass before pouring in the Garri mixture. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing drink!

Notes

  • Pre-measure Garri and keep it in an airtight container for quick preparation.
  • Feel free to customize the sweetness and creaminess to your taste.
  • Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, stir before serving.
