Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 4 Beyond Burger patties
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt plus extra for seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter softened
  • 4 sesame hamburger buns
  • 12 pickle slices
  • 1/2 white onion sliced into rings cut 1/8-inch thick
  • 1 large tomato cut into 8 slices about 1/8-inch thick
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 8 leaves iceberg lettuce torn into pieces about the width of the buns
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise

Equipment

  • Large skillet or grill
  • Spatula
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife
  • Serving plates

Method

Instructions
  1. Begin by seasoning each Beyond Burger patty with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet or on a grill over medium heat, melt the softened butter. Once hot, add the seasoned Beyond Burger patties. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they achieve a beautiful golden-brown crust.
  3. While the patties are cooking, slice the sesame hamburger buns in half. Place them cut-side down on the skillet or grill for a minute or two until they are lightly toasted and golden.
  4. Once the patties are cooked and the buns are toasted, assemble your burgers starting with the bottom half of the bun, adding mayonnaise, lettuce, a patty, ketchup, tomato slices, onion rings, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
  5. Serve the burgers immediately while they’re still warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For an even juicier burger, consider adding a slice of your favorite cheese on top of the patty during the last minute of cooking.
  • Feel free to customize your toppings based on personal preference; mushrooms, roasted red peppers, or even a fried egg can elevate your burger!
  • Make sure to use fresh ingredients for the best flavor—especially the produce!
  • Don't rush the cooking process; allow the patties to sear properly for maximum flavor.
