  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 can refried beans 15 oz, or 2 cups of homemade refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pint grape tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup minced yellow onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Use a spatula to mix them together until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  2. Next, sprinkle in the taco seasoning and stir well until it is completely incorporated.
  3. In your serving dish, spread the refried beans evenly across the bottom.
  4. Spread the creamy sour cream and cream cheese mixture over the layer of refried beans, smoothing it out evenly with your spatula.
  5. Add the shredded cheddar cheese over the creamy layer, ensuring it covers the entire surface.
  6. Top your dip with the halved grape tomatoes, minced yellow onions, and chopped cilantro.
  7. Allow the dip to chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
