In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and Frank's RedHot sauce until smooth and evenly mixed.
Fold in the shredded chicken and 1 cup shredded cheddar until everything is well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe baking dish and spread into an even layer.
Sprinkle the optional blue cheese or additional cheddar over the top.
Bake for 18–20 minutes, until the dip is bubbling and the top is lightly browned.
Remove from the oven and let sit for 2–3 minutes, then serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetables.
