Ingredients
  • 3-4 Salmon fillets about 4 oz each
  • 4 tablespoonbutter at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoonbrown sugar
  • 1 teaspoonminced garlic
  • 1 teaspoonfresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoonlemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoonground pepper
  • Salt to taste

Equipment

  • Sheet Pan
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Medium bowl
  • Oven

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine 4 tablespoons butter (room temperature), 1 teaspoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon minced garlic, 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, ½ teaspoon ground pepper, and salt to taste. Stir until smooth and well blended.
  3. Use a small amount of the butter mixture to lightly grease the foil-lined sheet pan. Arrange the 3–4 salmon fillets (about 4 oz each) on the pan in a single layer with space between them.
  4. Generously rub the remaining butter mixture over the tops and sides of each fillet so they are evenly coated.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–14 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque in the center and flakes easily with a fork. If you want a more browned top, broil on high for 2 minutes—watch closely to avoid burning.
  6. Remove the salmon from the oven, let rest briefly (1–2 minutes), and serve immediately.
