Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes
Servings: 2 people

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 ounces salmon fillets
  • 1 lemon sliced

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Small Bowl
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Spatula or spoon

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly spray or oil it.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, chopped parsley, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, salt, and ground black pepper; mix until evenly combined.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Evenly spread the Parmesan-parsley mixture over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Cover the fillets loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
  6. Remove the foil, serve immediately with lemon slices, and optionally sprinkle additional grated Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh wild salmon for best flavor and texture.
  • Covering with foil while baking helps retain moisture.
  • Cooking time varies with fillet thickness; check for doneness.
  • Test doneness by flaking the thickest part with a fork.
