Ingredients
  

  • 15.25 ounces chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 12 large marshmallows halved
  • 2 tubs whipped white frosting (14 ounces each)
  • 48 brown Mini M&Ms

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, chocolate milk, and vegetable oil. Mix for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Step 3: Line your cupcake pan with cupcake liners and fill each about two-thirds full with batter.
  4. Step 4: Bake for 18-22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  5. Step 5: Once cool, frost each cupcake with whipped white frosting using an offset spatula.
  6. Step 6: Place halved marshmallows on top of each frosted cupcake, cut-side down.
  7. Step 7: Add two brown Mini M&Ms on each marshmallow to create ghost eyes.

Notes

  • Mix only until combined to avoid dense cupcakes.
  • Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
  • Use fresh marshmallows for the best ghostly appearance.
