Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten-free flour blend (I use and recommend Pamela's)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3.5 oz Private Selections Roasted Garlic & Herb Finishing Butter (or similar garlic-infused butter)
  • 7 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cold milk

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Baking Sheet
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Grater

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour blend, sugar, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
  3. Melt the Private Selections Roasted Garlic & Herb Finishing Butter and add it to the dry mixture. Fold in the grated cheddar cheese.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the cold milk with the melted butter. Stir gently until combined.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop the biscuit dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
  8. Once baked, let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
