Ingredients

Ribeye Steaks

  • 2 pieces ribeye steaks (8-12 ounces each)

Marinade Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary

Seasoning

  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Marinade - Whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey or maple syrup, and dried thyme or rosemary in a mixing bowl.
  • Step 2: Marinate the Steaks - Place ribeye steaks in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish, pour marinade over, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Step 3: Preheat Your Grill - Preheat your grill to high heat.
  • Step 4: Season the Steaks - Remove steaks from marinade, let excess drip off, and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Step 5: Grill the Steaks - Grill steaks for 4-5 minutes on one side, flip, and grill for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare.
  • Step 6: Let Them Rest - Remove steaks from grill and let rest for 5-10 minutes.
  • Step 7: Serve and Enjoy - Slice against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Bring steaks to room temperature before grilling for even cooking. Do not flip too often to build a nice crust.
