Healthy Chocolate Protein Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cup Bolthouse Farms Chocolate Plant Protein Milk
  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter natural
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt or non-dairy yogurt for vegan
  • 1 date pitted and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon rolled oats toasted
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method
 

  1. Add the chocolate plant protein milk, frozen banana, peanut butter, Greek or non-dairy yogurt, chopped pitted date, toasted rolled oats, vanilla extract, and unsweetened cocoa powder to a blender.
  2. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape the sides if needed.
  3. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use a frozen banana for a thicker, colder smoothie.
  • Substitute non-dairy yogurt to make the recipe vegan.
  • Toast oats lightly in a dry pan for extra flavor if not already toasted.
