Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Salted butter melted
  • 2/3 cup Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Begin by melting the 1 cup of salted butter.
  2. Once the butter is melted, add the 2/3 cup of Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder to the bowl. Mix it well until fully combined.
  3. Gradually add in the 3 cups of powdered sugar, alternating with the 1/3 cup of milk. Mix on low speed until combined.
  4. Add the 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the mixture and mix to enhance the flavor.
  5. Whip the frosting for about 2-3 minutes until it’s light and fluffy. Adjust with more milk if too thick.

Notes

  • Store leftover frosting in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • For a dairy-free version, use a dairy-free butter alternative and plant-based milk.
  • Let cakes cool completely before frosting to avoid melting.
