Total Time 35 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch pieces
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup hoisin sauce

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Spatula or tongs

Method

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the 1 pound of chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the hot skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink in the center, about 6–8 minutes depending on piece size.
  4. Add 2 cups broccoli florets to the skillet and cook until tender-crisp, about 3–4 minutes.
  5. Stir in 1 cup hoisin sauce and cook until the sauce is heated through and slightly thickened, about 1–2 minutes.
  6. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.

Notes

  • Cut chicken into uniform pieces for even cooking.
  • Use fresh or frozen broccoli that has been thawed and drained.
  • Cook chicken fully until juices run clear.
  • Reduce heat if sauce thickens too quickly.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
