Method
- Measure all spices into a mixing bowl.
- Stir thoroughly until the mixture is uniform in color and texture.
- Transfer the seasoning to a clean jar with a tight-fitting lid.
- Store in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
Notes
- Use 2 tablespoons of this seasoning per 1 pound of ground chicken with 1/2 cup water for tacos.
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet and brown 1 pound ground chicken before adding seasoning.
- Simmer seasoned chicken with liquid for 5–10 minutes until thickened.
- Warm tortillas and assemble with lettuce, cheddar, and diced tomatoes.
- Adjust salt to taste if reducing sodium elsewhere in the meal.
