Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 small yellow onion peeled and diced finely
  • ½ cup bread and butter pickles small diced
  • 2 tablespoons pimentos
  • 2 finely chopped hard-boiled eggs
  • ½ cup chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons white distilled vinegar
  • 2 dashes hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper

Method
 

  1. Prepare all your ingredients. Peel and finely dice the yellow onion, chop the hard-boiled eggs, and measure out the mayonnaise, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and other components.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise, diced onion, small diced pickles, pimentos, chopped hard-boiled eggs, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, white vinegar, hot sauce, sugar, sea salt, and cracked black pepper.
  3. Using a whisk or spoon, combine all the ingredients until they are well-mixed and creamy. Taste the dressing and adjust seasonings as needed.
  4. Transfer your Homemade Thousand Island Dressing to a storage container and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, consider adding more hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
