Honey Butter Baked Chicken

A simple, sweet-and-savory baked chicken with a honey-mustard butter glaze.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together 1/3 cup honey, 1/3 cup melted margarine or butter, 2 tablespoons mustard, and 1/4 teaspoon salt until smooth.
  3. Place the 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts in a shallow baking pan in a single layer.
  4. Pour the honey‑butter mixture evenly over the chicken, coating each breast.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, basting the chicken with the pan juices every 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest briefly before serving.
