Servings: 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking Dish
  • Small Bowl
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Knife

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, olive oil, honey, ketchup, rice vinegar, and soy sauce until smooth.
  3. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season both sides with the flour, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, pressing the flour mixture lightly so it adheres.
  4. Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs in a baking dish, skin side up, leaving space between pieces.
  5. Pour the honey-garlic sauce evenly over the chicken, coating each thigh.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
