Preparation Steps:
- Start by patting the salmon pieces dry with paper towels. Season each piece with sea salt and black pepper on both sides.
- In a shallow dish, spread out the all-purpose flour. Dredge each salmon piece in flour, shaking off any excess.
- In a non-stick skillet, heat the light olive oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- Carefully place the salmon pieces in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown and crispy. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Combine the honey and soy sauce in a small bowl. Once the salmon is cooked, pour the honey glaze over the pieces and allow it to caramelize for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet, squeeze fresh lime juice over the top, and garnish with chopped chives. Serve with lime wedges.
Notes
- Use wild-caught salmon for a richer flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
- Consider adding minced garlic or ginger to the glaze for extra flavor.
