  • 1/4 cup low-fat buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup low-fat mayonnaise
  • 1 piece jalapeno, stemmed and seeded
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 piece green onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (approximately 1/2 lime)
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Step 1: Gather all the ingredients. Ensure that your jalapeno is stemmed and seeded. Chop the green onion and roughly chop the cilantro.
  • Step 2: In a blender, combine the low-fat buttermilk and low-fat mayonnaise. Blend until smooth.
  • Step 3: Add the jalapeno, garlic, green onion, lime juice, and cilantro to the blender. Blend on high speed until fully incorporated.
  • Step 4: Taste and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  • Step 5: Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Stir before serving.
