Method
 

  1. Step 1: Prepare Your Pan - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Step 2: Melt Chocolate and Butter - In a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl, melt the finely chopped unsweetened chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Step 3: Mix Dry Ingredients - In a separate bowl, whisk together the allulose, salt, cocoa powder, and espresso powder if using.
  4. Step 4: Combine Wet Ingredients - In another bowl, whisk the eggs and vanilla extract together until frothy. Add the melted chocolate mixture and coconut milk, mixing until well combined.
  5. Step 5: Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients - Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Step 6: Add Chocolate Chips - Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
