  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients on the countertop. This will streamline the cooking process and ensure you have everything you need at hand.
  2. In a medium bowl, crack the 4 large eggs. Use a whisk or a fork to beat them until the yolks and whites are fully combined and the mixture is slightly frothy.
  3. Stir in the ½ teaspoon of mustard and a pinch of salt to the beaten eggs. Mix thoroughly to ensure the mustard is evenly distributed throughout the egg mixture.
  4. Place your non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the 2 tablespoons of butter. Allow the butter to melt completely.
  5. Once the butter is melted and bubbling slightly, pour in the egg mixture. Allow the eggs to cook undisturbed for about 30 seconds, then gently stir with a spatula.
  6. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are just set but still slightly soft.
