Ingredients
  

For the Bites:
  • 8 ounces Pillsbury Crescent Dough Sheet cut into 2-inch rounds
  • 4 ounces Kielbasa sliced into 1/8-inch rounds
  • 2 medium fresh jalapeno peppers sliced into 1/8-inch rounds
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese softened
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Coarse sea salt for sprinkling

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Begin by slicing the kielbasa and jalapenos. In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Unroll the Pillsbury Crescent Dough Sheet and cut out 2-inch rounds.
  3. Take a round of dough, place a slice of kielbasa and jalapeno in the center, add a dollop of cream cheese, and fold the dough over to encase the filling, pinching the edges to seal.
  4. Place the assembled bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!

  • Feel free to customize the filling with cheese or bacon.
  • Adjust jalapeno amount based on spice preference.
