Instructions
- Pour 1 ¾ cups water (or milk) into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Add 1 cup Quaker Old-Fashioned Oats (Quick 1-Minute Oats) and a pinch of salt (optional). Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender and liquid is absorbed — about 1 minute for Quick 1-Minute Oats or about 5 minutes for old-fashioned oats.
- If using, stir in 2 to 3 tablespoons brown sugar to taste.
- Transfer the cooked oatmeal to a bowl.
- Top the oatmeal with ½ medium banana, peeled and sliced into thin rounds.
- Add 2 to 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter; if you prefer it melted, place the peanut butter in a small microwave-safe bowl and heat for 8 to 10 seconds, then stir and drizzle over the oatmeal.
- Sprinkle ½ cup pomegranate arils (or substitute strawberries, blueberries, or your favorite fruit) and 1 Quaker Chewy Chocolate Strawberries Granola Bar, diced small, over the top.
- Serve immediately — oatmeal is best warm and fresh.
