Ingredients

For the Plant Butter:
  • 1 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1/2 cup sunflower oil
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup pecans (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Equipment

  • Mixer or food processor
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Spatula
  • Container for storage

Method

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients. Ensure all your ingredients are at room temperature, especially the coconut oil. If it’s solid, gently melt it until it’s liquefied but not too hot.
  2. Step 2: Blend the Base. In a mixing bowl or food processor, combine the melted coconut oil and sunflower oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Step 3: Add the Creaminess. Pour in the almond milk and maple syrup. If you’re adding cinnamon and pecans, now is the time to include them as well. Pulse or mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Step 4: Taste and Adjust. Give your Maple Plant Butter a taste. Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more maple syrup or a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
  5. Step 5: Transfer and Chill. Transfer your mixture to a glass jar or an airtight container. Place it in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours to allow it to set.
  6. Step 6: Enjoy Your Creation. Once set, your Maple Plant Butter is ready to be enjoyed!
